Craftin' it up!: A vomit of HK bows on my wall

One Wednesday afternoon with all the things completed off my checklist, I was sitting at my desk daydreaming of wall decals. I thought of my wall at home and how I've been meaning, for so long to decorate the damn walls. My cat montage I had created before to jazz' up my walls had fallen apart in less than thirty minutes.... And now it's incredibly plain with my lonely little dream catcher and Pucca prancing above my bedhead. 

I opened up my browser and googled away, opening a new tab with each new search, I found myself wanting to splat Hello Kitty on my wall. I had absolutely fallen in love with the feline well over six months ago when I had won one of the typical toys at Capital (Inserts pic of one of our first pics together). 

I googled for the perfect image and printed it out.

Then I decided I wanted more!!! I googled a bow and made multiples in many different shades...

Printed and all cut out, I was super excited!

 My sister had dropped by and commented that I was too bothered. I ignored her and proceeded on slipping each lil treat into a sleeve

 Ke ke ke ke

 All laminated and ready to snip away!

 *snip snip

All giddy, I was excited to go home that afternoon, especially with the beautiful weather, I couldn't be happier!

 Got to my room and looked at my boring wall. Tsk lil Pucca.

 Replaced with HK

 And laying out my bows!

 All ready to stick up!

And taadaa, what a vomit of HK bows look like.

I woke up this morning and looked up, to such a pretty sight.

Week 40: I really need to stop going Peppercorn...., Birds having an affair and Discovering the amazing manicurist in me

Hi!

Hmmm I am so crammed with Uni work right now. 

Last week I did NOTHING. What is wrong with me. What did lil arsy get up to...

Wellllllllll....

 My favourite chocolate went on sale! This is amazing... hazlenut.... omg...........

 Too lazy to take off my bracelet to wash dishes, better alternative? Tape it up! (Tutorial on it later. lol, kidding)

Feels like this is a weekly thing...

Went to chow something sweet with my mate at Peppercorn (Again??! Gosh Alice.)

 He got some funky chocolate explosion

I got the yummy paradise bliss! 

I cleaned up my room.....

LOL I KNOW. I'M HORRIBLE.

 U can see the sparkles!!

Witnessed two love birds falling in love.... (the icons on the top)

And sadly witnessed an affair...

 Made pasta!

Annnd painted my nails with a bottle of FOA's Orange you glad you came gifted from Trammie

 Fell in love with Asian sponge cakes all over again...

 Ate poo (it's a tamarind guys relax.)

 Nommed a delicious meal

 Ate some gummy bears of the rainbow

 Recieved some goodies in the mail.... No more buying makeup now I swear.. . . . .. . .. (kinda) (depends) (ok) (i take it back)

 Discovered that cutie gers saved a lil poem I wrote for her

 Screenshoting cute memories :) 

Had a list of 31 items to buy on my grocery list... ended up buying only a few of them and a lot of things not on the list...

 Strawverries, zucchinis, lebanese bread, apples, oranges, lettuce, kiwis, cabbage, spaghetti, crackers and beans

Only around $16!

Rested my arms.... had a wrap..

 ...made the fruit bowl pretty... 

took a picture to show ya'll how thin my hair is :(

and headed out again for my second trip of grocery shopping...

 I like my non-branded goods. Corns n peas, dried apricots, cans of stuff, yogurt, lemon juice... and other knick knacks

grocery shopping all up = $40!

Friday night, six shots of the naughties and I decided to paint my nails. lol. I didn't do a bad job!

 Didn't even end up at the city being stuck on the train for and hour and only being at strathfield, ended up at green peppercorn.

 I always wandered around the sweets display at the restaurant, thought it was time I bought one!

Salted caramel macaroon. Was ok. Wouldn't mind getting it again though.

Home sweet home,,

Week 39: Trying random Asian drinks, Fail frosting and Way too many sweets!

Once again, I'm a week late

Whats up! 

I've been absolutely chilling..... And uni work has been piling up.

 Packed some snacks for uni! Cookies, savoury goods and carrots!

I don't like gum but this was nom nom nom nom

I had not seen my tafe mate anz bananz since I finished tafe aww I was super excited to catch up with her and hear all her stories she had to share! We decided to hit up holy basil for their fried ice cream!

So we ordered their delicious fried ice cream and decided to try something different, glutinous rice and durian.

 This was so boring. Would not order it again, ever.

Tuesday night went for dinner with a mate down at Superdish! 

 I noticed the dessert store next door to it before proceeding in, they're connected! how cute.

We were the only two in the restaurant hehe

The usual fish balls! I like the city ones much better.

Trying out preserved veggies and beef. I expected more of a pickled taste to come from the preserved greens, it was nothing at that. Tasted more western overloaded with black pepper and capsicum than anything.

I should really stop buying random Asian drinks... This was disgusting.

So my mates birthday was on Wednesday so I decided to make her a cake!

 Baking the cake was a success but the frosting absolutely hated me and did not turn out.

So I decided to make her cupcakes...

Making icing :D

Coloured and dropped on!

Decorated and packed away to give her tomorrow night :)

My friend and I decided to have dessert at Meet Fresh, which opened just a few weeks ago. 

 It's still incredibly packed at 7pm.

Like Cooks Hill, they give you a buzzer!

I ordered meet fresh noodle supreme and for Vivsy, mango supreme!

Amazing che! I'd like to relive the night of Tez' bday to have some more of it.

By the time the cake was out we were absolutely stuffed, spending 1/3 of the night around and near the sweets table... I just could not eat anymore... But I ate more anyway :)
